1940's Val's Apron

My friend, Val Esway, totally rocks in her music and in her cooking! This pattern is based on Val’s favorite vintage apron. It was in very sad shape when I rescued it from her kitchen and took it off to give it a new life as a vintage pattern reproduction. I think you are going to love the results. The apron has a separate neck piece, a heart-shaped pocket and it provides full frontal coverage for cooking. The edges are finished with bias binding. You can make this one out of just a bit more than one yard of fabric. Go out, get some great cotton and have fun sewing! Check out Val’s music at www.staggeringsiren.com if you are so inclined
