A fitted, flared mid-calf length skirt with separate center panel and side/back panel which wraps around and meets at center front with a decorative closure. Skirt is cut on the bias at center back with a slightly fishtail shaped hem and an invisible zipper.

Fabric Suggestions: Fabrics with drape and weight, such as wool crepe; 4-ply crepes (silk or rayon); wool double knit; wool jersey; triacetate; and drapey mid-weight wools and rayon. Not recommended: synthetic fabrics which don't hold a crisp edge.

Notions: thread, 9: invisible zipper, 1/8 yard medium-soft fusible interfacing for all sizes. Decorative closure for front.

Ease Measurements: Waist: 1/2" - 1" of ease
Hips: 2" - 2 1/2" of ease

Please Note: Because of the necessity to cut this skirt from a single layer of fabric, there will be some larger pieces of fabric left over. You may want to buy a bit more fabric, so that the excess can be used for making another garment, such as a vest, or jacket or straight skirt.

Suggested Interfacing: silk organza, sheer lightweight sew-in interfacing with body such as Sewin Sheer; or fusible lightweight with body such as So Sheer.
