The My Favorite Backpack pattern will certainly become your favorite backpack too!  This pattern has comfortable back shoulder straps, a convenient front pocket, and a drawstring closure.  Instructions are included for either a patchwork design or using the latest pre-quilted fabrics.   Finished size is 12" x 14".

Materials Needed:

• PATCHWORK BACKPACK: 1/4 yd four cotton fabrics (fabrics 2-5)
• 1/8 yd two cotton fabrics (fabrics 1 & 6)
• 1/2 yd cotton fabric (bag & pocket linings)
• 1/2 yd thin batting (45" wide)
• BACKPACK USING PREQUILTED FABRICS:  1/2 yd double sided pre-quilted fabric
• 1/2 yd cotton fabric (pocket, top flap & straps)
• 1/4 yd thin batting (45" wide)
• ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES: 1/8 yd sew-in interfacing (medium weight 45" wide)
• Velcro (5" of 3/4" wide)
