Paris Evening Coat: Create an elegant opera coat made from simple Modular Design elements, connected with Kayla's unique seam techniques as seen in Threads Magazine, issues 98 and 117. Pattern includes all 6 sizes plus easy instructions for further modification and detailed instructions for 4 seaming styles. Sleeve options include kimono or dolman styles. Choose a soft drapy fabric such as velvet, lt wt silks, or rayon for either a lined (reversible) or unlined garment.
Notions for various seaming styles:
Roll-hem serged edge with multi-stitch zigzag connection:
- 3 spools for serger (rayon thread can be used on silks)
- 1 spool for connection (same thread color or contrasting)

- 1/2 yd tear away stabilizer
