The pillows come in several styles, sizes and shapes. We suggest using decorator fabrics such as tapestry, brocade, linen types and velveteen. Use your leftover buttons and trims. Trim them with welting, twisted welting, piping, fringe, tassels and buttons. Trim requirements are not given. You may purchase these items if desired. The pillows are stuffed with polyester filling. If you are making the pillows with buttons you will need one or three buttons.

All sizes of the square, round, oblong bolster and pillows with a flange require 1/2 (0.50 m) yard of fabric or less of 45” (115 cm) or 54” (137 cm) wide fabric.

Envelope pillow

We recommend using Polarfleece or blanket fleece. The flap is a single layer of fabric with a button closure. The edges are finished on the serger or with decorative stitches done by hand or on a standard sewing machine. You may also use yarn for the decorative stitches done by hand.

The pillow blanket has a pocket so when the blanket is folded and inserted into the pocket it becomes a pillow. The outside edges are finished with decorative stitches done by hand with yarn or on the sewing machine. Instructions are included for cutting (no pattern is given). We suggest using Polarfleece, blanket fabrics (wool or synthetic). You will need 2 5/8 yards (2.40 m) of 54” (135 cm) wide fabric. The finished blanket is 70” x 54” (180 cm x 135 cm).

The throw has rounded corners. The outside edges are finished with decorative stitches done by hand with yarn or on the sewing machine. Instructions are included for cutting (no pattern is given). We suggest using Polarfleece, blanket fabrics (wool or synthetic). You will need 2 yards (1.75 m) of 50” (130 cm) wide fabric. The finished throw is 50” x 68” (130 cm x 175 cm).
