This pattern is designed for the full-figured petite woman.
She has narrow shoulders, full bust, short waist length, and rounded tummy. The Perfect Fit Guide™ for custom fitting is included in the instructions...extra fitting help for a perfect custom fit. Flattering button-front dress with princess seaming, can be made with soft collar or simple faced neckline, choice of elastic back waist or adjustable back belt, short or long sleeves and optional side-seam pocket. Fabric
Suggestions:
Soft knit ( with less than 25% stretch) or woven fabrics, such as lightweight
cotton, rayon, wool challis, microfibers, crepe, viscose or silk. Fabric requirements
do not allow for shrinkage. Allow extra fabric for matching plaids.
Notions:
Thread, disappearing fabric marker, eleven 1/2" (1.5cm) buttons,
(nine for dress front, two for buttoned back belt), shoulder
pads (optional), 3/8 yd (.3m) of 2" (5 cm) wide sport elastic
(for elastic back waist), buttonhole marking tape (optional).
