Full pants with yoked top, elastic at back. Overlay softly drapes from the yoke and attaches at the cuff, drawing attention away from the hips and tummy. The pant legs are roomy and fall softly over the cuff. Cuffs may be deleted.

Options: Creative touches such as adding and edging trim on the drape and by the addition of detailing to the yoke such as quilting, beading, embroidery, trapunto, sashiko stitching, etc. will make these pants that much more special. You may add lightweight piping or cording to the edge of the draped overlay or embellish the yoke with beading or decorative stitching. You may omit the inseam pockets and cuffs.

Fabric Suggestions: Choose a soft, medium-weight fabric suitable for pants. Crepe, challis, cotton gauze, silk, washed rayon, rayon blends, poly blends, rayon, soft wool or cotton. Not recommended are calico, corduroy or denim. Remember the wrong side will show on the draped overlay.
