Detailed Description

Maia Jacket: This semi-fitted high-hip length jacket features princess seams, with the front panel extending into a small pocket at the horizontal seam line. The two-piece set-in sleeves are bracelet length, with angled cuffs. The jacket has a convertible collar. View A features the front buttoned all the way to the top for a Peter Pan effect. View B shows the two top buttons undone, which created the look of a notched collar. The Maia Jacket is lined.

Fabric Suggestions: Medium-weight jacket fabrics, such as wool crepe, wool gabardine, wool suiting, silk suiting, such as silk "matka", medium- to heavy-weight linen or rayon. Note: while some medium-weight synthetic fabrics may work with this pattern, you may need to reduce the ease in the sleeve cap in order for it to fit smoothly into the jacket.

Notions: Thread; 13 5/8" buttons for View A; 11 5/8" buttons for View B; small shoulder pads; interfacing (see chart).
