VIEW A
Hat has earflaps with tassels and the top is gathered and has a tassel. Tassels are made from contrast fabrics
Material Required: Fabric 60" (152 cm) wide - 1/2 yd (0.50 m) for sizes XS - S - M, 5/8 yd (0.60 m) for sizes L-XL; Contrast I & Contrast II Fabric 7" (18 cm) wide (minimum width) - 1/4 yd (0.25 m) each.
Notions: Thread.

VIEW B
Cap has contrast center inset.
Material Required: Fabric 24" (60 cm) wide (minimum width) - 3/8 yd (0.35 m) for sizes XS - S - M, 1/2 yd (0.50 m) for sizes L-XL; Contrast Fabric 28" (70 cm) wide (minimum width) - 1/4 yd (0.25 m).
Notions: Thread.

VIEW C
Hat has earflaps with Velcro closure. Top of hat is square with a tassel in each corner.

Notions: Thread, 1 1/2" (4 cm) of 1 1/2" (4 cm) wide Velcro.

Beret style hat.

SHAWL
Shawl is shaped and has patch pockets. The outside edges are left unfinished and the fabric is cut to form fringe. Shawl is 72" (182 cm) long and 16" (40 cm) wide.
Material Required: Fabric 60" (152 cm) wide - 1 1/8 yd (1.05 m).
Notions: Thread, scrap piece of fusible interfacing.
