Detailed Description
This jacket looks good on all ladies. It is also very easy to size up or down. The open lattice work up the front and across the back creates design interest and is a great look for all figures. The lattice work is truly easy to do. You make a long tube of fabric or use ribbon or trim. Cut in 1 1/2" to 2" pieces, pin to one side of jacket, sew, then pin to other side, sew, and you are done. People think you did a lot of work that you didn't do! Also, for you who like to do creative sewing, the design offers great opportunites for combining colors and fabric textures. For a more conservative look, use one fabric. You can also ignore the cut lines for the lattice and you have a simple jacket.

Options: The collar band may be fully attached for a kimono style collar, or partially sewn to jacket and left loose to tie. Also you can make it without open lattice work.

Fabric Suggestions: Medium weight fabric with soft movement and a stable weave. Jacket-weight rayon, washed linen, cotton, silk, wool or poly blends all work well. Not recommended for knits.

Notions: Thread. Optional: ribbons or other trims to use for lattice.
