Jan Bones is an accomplished teacher, author and designer. She travels across Canada and the United States teaching sewing enthusiasts how to make beautiful lingerie and more, in seminars and hand on workshops. Lingerie Secrets" is Jan's successful line of sewing patterns. There are currently 28 designs to fit ladies in the regular and plus size ranges.
There are also many Dress Forms adorning sewing spaces across the country, courtesy of Jan's workshop on Dress Form creation. Jan continues to enjoy writing books, preparing magazine articles and producing sewing videos. Since 1978, Jan has taught pattern design, garment construction, tailoring, draping and fitting in the Clothing and Textiles Department at the University of Manitoba.
